Sustainability

Since its inception in 1986, Andiata’s core mission has been designing fashion to last from one generation to the next. Sustainability in all its aspects – timeless style, durability of high-quality materials as well as responsible and transparent manufacturing processes with a low environmental impact – are at the center of Andiata’s company values. Andiata's ideology of quality over quantity is reflected in every aspect of the design process – we release only two seasonal collections annually and use only the finest of materials in our designs. In Andiata design studio in Helsinki, our design team works closely together with our own pattern makers and seamstresses to produce garments with impeccable tailoring and craftmanship – our centralized working method has the added benefit of decreasing logistics needs, thus reducing our carbon footprint.

MATERIAL CARE

Taking care of your garments is an integral part of consuming fashion sustainably. When cared for properly, the garments and fabrics endure the wear year after year, maintaining their shape, properties as well as their resale value.

Wash and dry your garments according to the care label’s instructions and store them carefully on a hanger in a closet avoiding direct sunlight.
